So we figured it was the perfect name to help document our journey, case studies of projects we’ve worked on, lessons learned, and tips and tricks that we want to pass along. Another year has been completed and I wish my readers all the best in 2025. I was going to do an Instagram post stating all the good that happened in 2024. I try to be a glass-is-half-full gal, but I know that not every moment is perfect. There have been great moments that have happened this year (shout out to my amazing clients) and there have been some unexpected plot twists (*insert dramatic music) that have been downright stressful.

What’s in a Name?

Picture it, the year is 2016, and a business called Type Designs was operating in Medicine Hat, AB. They created logos and brands as one of their services. But guess what they lacked? A solid brand (*insert gasp). No matter how hard they worked on their brand it just didn’t feel right. They decided to work with a brand strategist to come up with a name that was more fitting to the services they provided. Then, sometime later, Flag 5 was born.
